What is Enrolment?

Enrolment is the final step to complete before beginning your studies for the year at AFDA. Every student, both new and returning, need to go through enrolment to ensure the documents submitted and the enrolment agreement signed is valid for the year ahead in which you will be studying at AFDA.

For new students enroling at AFDA for the first time, you need to have applied, been accepted and paid your registration before you proceed with enrolment. Enrolment in 2024 will require you to come to campus to enrol, with the necessary enrolment documents.

For all returning students (2nd year, 3rd year, Postgraduate students or students who have enrolled and studied with us previously), you can enrol online via https://enrol.afda.co.za/.

Enrolment for all new students will take place on campus.  You will need to visit your nearest campus, with your parent or fee payer, to complete the enrolment process.  Enrolment starts on Monday 15 January 2024.

Our enrolment staff will be available on campus during enrolment to assist you with completing every step of the enrolment process.  For an overview of how enrolment works, you can download our useful Enrolment Process Infographic by clicking on the “Enrolment Process” download button above.

To start the enrolment process, you will need to provide some documents to the AFDA enrolment team:

  • AFDA Acceptance letter
  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of your latest academic results*

* Please note, if you haven’t received your matric results / certificate, you may use your Grade 11 Report / Latest Transcript that you applied with to continue with the enrolment process. You will be able to present a certified copy of your matric certificate once you have received it.

For the complete checklist of all enrolment documents that you would need to provide, you can view and download it here.

The enrolment team will also assist you to complete and sign the AFDA Enrolment Agreement.  You can start completing some of the details of the Enrolment Agreement at home before you arrive on campus, as this will speed up your enrolment process.  To view and download the Enrolment Agreement, please click on the “Enrolment Agreement” download button above.
