AFDA Durban lecturer on route to USA

Damien Tomaselli – Image Production Department & Virtual Reality lecturer at AFDA Durban –  is off to the USA after recently attended a virtual reality workshop – Lights, Camera, Interaction – organised through The Groupement Européen des Ecoles de Cinéma et de Télévision (GEECT) Conference at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland .

Damien will be travelling to California where he will work with Madefire in creating Virtual Reality motion books and touching with industry on development and future trends on virtual, augmented and mixed reality. He will then attend San Diego Comic Con where he will showcase his new motion book Labyrinth of Lacuna, and take part in the Comic Arts Conference. After which he will attend the IAMCR conference presenting his paper , The Medium is Missing… in the Comic Art Working goup. He will rejoin AFDA Durban in the third term.
