Congratulations to the director of Ellen: The Ellen Pakkies Story, AFDA alumnus Daryne Joshua and all the AFDA alumni who worked in key positions on the film, on being selected as the South African entry for the Golden Globe Best Foreign Film award.

The multi-award winning Ellen, took close to R7m at the South African box office and received rave reviews from critics worldwide.

AFDA is registered as the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance, and is a private higher education institution which offers higher certificate and degree programmes.
