Noem My Skollie grabs 2 Rapid Lions

The South African feature film, “Noem My Skollie”, directed by AFDA Cape Town alumnus Daryne Joshua received seven nominations at the RapidLion (The South African International Film Festival) awards 2017 and won two – Best Screenplay and Best of South Africa.

Daryne Joshua was also nominated in the Best Directing category while fellow AFDA alumni Basiama Segola was nominated for Sound Editing (Noem My Skollie), Simon Beesley for Film Editing (Noem My Skollie and Zen van Zyl for Cinematography (Noem My Skollie).

The cast and crew from Noem My Skollie, which was also selected as South Africa’s Oscar candidate, will also be looking forward to the SAFTA’s 2017 where the film received 12 nominations .
