Homeless wins @ FECAA in Morocco

AFDA Durban 2015 Oscar candidate film “Homeless” walked off with the Press Award for Best Fiction Film at premiere Festival des Ecoles du Cinema et d’Audiovisual d’Afrique 2017 (FECAA) held in Rabat in Morocco.

AFDA Durban’s Dean, Brent Quin, was invited to the festival where he gave a series of workshops along with AFDA Johannesburg honours graduate Darren Parker who represented his AFDA 2015 3rd year film “Isango”, which was selected to screen at the festival.

“Thank you to all my new friends for the unforgettable time in Morocco. It was such an honour to have my film screen there and to have had such a warm reception. The students and staff from ISMAC were fabulously kind and accommodating Thank you for having me! I hope that I can return very soon!!! You guys are welcome in South Africa any time.” says Darren Parker.
