PAUL STRAPPINI - TRANSMEDIA SHORT COURSE
Paul is currently the ECD of JWT Cape Town. He has been in advertising for 25 years and has pretty much loved every minute of it. He studied Journalism at Rhodes University (Grahamstown, South Africa) and then did an Honors Degree in English Literature because he was having too much fun to leave.
His first job in direct marketing saw him start his career immersed in the belief that advertising results should be measurable and work should be accountable. This is standing him in good stead in this age of analytics, tracking and data. The way the Internet has transformed communication, business and the world is something of an obsession with him, as is creating advertising ideas that consumers love to spend time with.
He firmly believes that narrative is the natural way humans share and remember information and believes that brands who understand this are the ones that are remembered and revered. Find him on Facebook (Paul Strappini), Twitter (@Podtweeter), Instagram (fightitwithyourmind) but not on Google+ which to be honest he never visits anymore
